ORANGE COUNTY KIDS AND THEIR FAVORITE YOUNG CELEBRITIES WILL BRIGHTEN THE DAY FOR CHOC PATIENTS BY ATTENDING THE “KIDS HELP CHILDREN” EVENT AT THE ANAHEIM HILTON

Games, prizes, performances and celebrity meet-and-greets will make for a memorable day for children, parents and CHOC Children’s Hospital patients on November 14, 2010
Anaheim, CA (October 12, 2010) –

Orange County families will enjoy a rare opportunity to see some of their favorite young celebrities who will come to the Anaheim Hilton on November 14, 2010 for an afternoon of fun and games for a great cause: a fundraiser and toy drive benefiting the CHOC Children’s Hospital.
Event attendees will get to see the red carpet arrival of stars like Vanessa Hudgens (High School Musical), Chelsea Staub (Jonas) and many others, as well as special performances by Ariana Grande of Nickelodeon’s Victorious, Savvy & Mandy of Radio Disney and others. Kids Help Children will offer entertainment for all ages, including bouncers, balloons and face painting for the little ones, and gaming elements for the older ones. Every child will leave with a prize! Best of all, kids will get into the spirit of giving as they play games to win prizes for patients of CHOC who are unable to attend due to illness.
“We are so excited about this unique event,” says Lois Augustine, Director, Community Relations for CHOC Children’s Foundation, which raises funds and awareness for CHOC. “We are very grateful to Kids Help Children and the event’s supporters for thinking of our patients and supporting our mission.”
In the hours before the event kicks off, several of the young celebrities scheduled to attend Kids Help Children will first make a visit to the hospital to greet some of their biggest fans: CHOC pediatric patients. For young people who are realizing that volunteerism and giving back is an important part of being a caring citizen, Kids Help Children is a chance to participate in a moment that will be packed with good will as much as good fun. For parents, Kids Help Children will be a great “teachable moment” to show their kids how fortunate they really are to have good health, while educating them on how to help and interact with children who don’t.
Kids Help Children is a ticketed event ($25 for adults, $15 for children) that will be held at the Anaheim Hilton Hotel (777 Convention Way, Anaheim, CA 92802) from 2:00-5:00PM on November 14, 2010.
