JDRF...the walk is over, now what?

Thank you all for the tremendous support you've shown us. With our fearless leader, John Patterson, working as the Corporate Chair for JDRF's Walk For A Cure this year, it seems like all we've thought about is the WALK. But, it's over...now what??!! We worked hard, had a great time, were more deeply touched than ever by your generousity, and together, pulled out all the stops. Our employees pitched in, our community pitched in, and even the weather helped us this year...well, who says we have to stop, anyway?

Until the cure is here (and it's so close)...we'll just keep doing what we do best...selling cars to raise funds and awarness!

It is with a great deal of pride that the OC Auto Team, OC Mazda and OC Hyundai, serves the many rewarding communites we call home. With a growing total of 150 employees, working at three Orange County locations, (Tustin Mazda, OC Hyundai and Huntington Beach Mazda) we are committed to serving the needs of Southern California.

~For every car sold, we reserve $50.00 to give back to local charities.

~To date, more than $500,000.00 has been donated, in just 6 years. Our goal is one million dollars by 2014.

Children's Congress

Jennifer Heumann and Heather Faland, both of Huntington Beach, were two of 300 children across the country chosen to represent JDRF Orange County at the 2005 and 2007 JDRF Children’s Congresses in Washington, D.C. Delegates go to Washington, D.C., to tell their elected officials and the world what it is like to live with diabetes and why providing funding to help find a cure is so important. Children’s Congress is designed to educate our federal elected officials about the issues surrounding children living with juvenile diabetes. The children selected from chapters around the country have a powerful story to tell, and they are incredibly effective in securing funding for type 1 diabetes research.
